Henrik Jarholm

Advisor

Henrik is committed to strengthening young people’s political self-efficacy through meaningful and safe learning environments. At the Wergeland Centre, he is responsible for the Democracy Workshop for students and teachers, as well as for supporting and following up the educators. He also contributes to the Centre’s professional development programmes for teachers and student teachers.

He has a diverse background in peace and solidarity work, journalism, and public administration. Henrik holds a master’s degree in social anthropology from the University of Oslo, and has conducted fieldwork in Indonesia focusing on Indigenous peoples, human rights, and sustainable development. Previously, he has worked as a communications adviser at the Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue and as an adviser in the fields of childhood, youth, and civil society at the Directorate of Integration and Diversity.

Henrik enjoys fishing trips, quizzes, and year-round sea swimming.
